One of the benefits of living in Longmont is the view of the Twin Peaks to the west. The view is almost different every single day. At 13911' and 14,259' respectively, Mt. Meeker (front) and Longs Peak are somewhat of a spectacle. Although this particular photo has been done by other Times-Call photographers, I had yet to do it myself. The Harvest Moon is the first full moon closest to the Autumnal Equinox. It is somewhat of a challenge to figure out the right spot to photograph the moon framed in the peaks. It may not be perfect, but I think I may have learned how to do this even better next year. It was worth getting up at 6 a.m. for 3 min. of firing off frames.

Sweet. The only thing I miss about that city is the view upon driving in from the highway. Beautiful.
