I don't know what it is about the St. Vrain Valley and high school athletics. There must be something in the cool Rocky Mountain Water around here. It seems like in every sport we have a team either close to going to the show, or at the show, or winning the show...
The Niwot girls tennis team captured the Class 4A title yesterday. Finals were today, however. They had a showing in four of the seven final matches today. Even if they all lost they still had enough points walk away with first.I heard a funny story about their head coach today. When some of these girls were 11-years-old a group of parents asked if he would be their coach. Shortly after taking on the challenge he said this team had a chance at winning a state team title. Well, he was right. They will take the first ever team trophy home in Cougar history.Next up...golf, soccer and baseball.

Really nice stuff Josh. I like the dejection with the game scores in the foreground. Can't wait to see more!
