In the spirit of Halloween I am posting some recent photos of a ghost hunting assignment I had a couple weeks ago. I spent half a day with Richard Estep, research director for Boulder County Paranormal, and a group of researchers at the Dicken's Opera House in Longmont. There are a lot of local theories of spirits and ghosts roaming the old building, but none are really confirmed. The current owner of the restaurant and bar that occupy the building has never had occurrences in the years that he has owned the place. Nonetheless, these people went in looking. As Estep says: "About 90 percent of our investigations are quiet and uneventful. It’s the 10 percent that aren’t that keep us doing it."
