Holiday Cheer

I always say I like this job because every day is different. Then, the month of December rolls around...

It seems as though each December brings the same holiday celebrations, with the same people, the same parades, the same settings, the same lights, the same music...you get the point.

This is when the job can become boring. On the other hand a photographer or reporter can push themselves to make the same 'ol events look different. I actually don't mind covering the same thing over again, mainly because I try to see if I can actually see the same 'ol thing different. Not saying these are different or ground breaking, but you should have seen the photos from my first parade held in the dark. So raise a toast of your favorite beverage, because here's to only photographing Santa two more times this year!
