So the time came for me to start work. I strolled into the office and was asked to find a "feature" for tomorrow's paper. I think to myself damn, I actually have to go talk to a stranger. I found myself in my car driving all over town. "I could photograph that," I thought countless times. Soon I found myself driving to the mountains trying to prolong the inevitable, using my vocal cords. I got to the crossroads in Lyons. I could turn right towards Estes Park or turn left towards Estes Park, although a much more unpopular route. "Less people," I thought to myself. I turned left. While on Colo. 7, I spotted a herd of deer out of the corner of my eye. "Perfect! I can make a fun photo and NOT talk to a single soul." The only communication I had with another human being for that couple of hours was a cordial head nod to the hiker coming down the trail. What a great day.

Leave me alone
Have you ever felt antisocial? You know, you wake up and don't feel like talking...to anyone. You especially don't feel like working, that's for sure. It is kinda hard if you are a journalist, like me, and you are expected to actually talk with people.

Good shot.
Nice to know I'm not the only one.
