Well, I am happy to report that I was only called a pervert once while shooting these. Kinda hard to prove you are actually a journalist when your credentials are not waterproof...and getting names was a pain since I left the underwater pencil and paper in my camera bag. Ugh!
I was assigned to do a feature page from all of the pools in town. So, I headed to Walgreens to buy a disposable underwater camera ($10.99) and headed to the pool in my trunks. What a great way to get paid!
The downside (as if there was one) was I forgot my goggles. Good thing, since the only ones I could find after shooting were my daughter's pink pair. So, I was forced to point the camera in the direction of fuzzy blobs and pray something came out. They may not be great, but I had a good day nonetheless. To those people who thought I was a perv: I hope you saw last Sunday's paper...

Josh-Nice job with the disposable rig man. I tried that a few years ago and it was really, really tough. I thought that you made the most of this situation. Keep it up bro.
Wow, that was a Kodak? Looks like my Nikon. Might have to make a trip to Walgreen's again.
Nice series of photos.

Ha! I've also had people wonder about my legitimacy when I don't have my credentials on me, but nobody has yet gone as far as to call me a pervert. You're a brave man to have continued. Good stuff.
Nice.
So, I hear there was big controversy surrounding your fashion photos. I guess this proves that you're a true artiste....
When you get a chance, call me. I still want to pay for a print.
Nice collection. I bet it looked good in print.
