I was sent to a Chinese New Year celebration at a local restaurant tonight and it was better than I expected. Here are a couple from a Lion Dance, traditionally used to frighten demons from local businesses and communities, and to help bring good fortune to all. Anyway, I didn't expect them to go inside, but they did and I missed a lot of photos. I hate excuses, but I am going to use one today. I had a flash malfunction once inside the dark restaurant and like I said, I didn't think they would take these massive costumes (with two people in one) inside. So, needless to say I was forced inside with half of my gear sitting outside next to their stuff. I know, excuses, excuses. I should just admit I failed to execute the opportunity...sue me.
